Health & Welfare Services Department
The Health & Welfare Services Department provides Health & Welfare benefits and eligibility information to our members and to providers who serve our members, as well as processing and payment of PPO medical, dental and Sick Leave claims.
The Health & Welfare Services Department is the source for information on medical claims status and payment information for members on the PPO / Open Plan, as well as claims status for EMAP, Premier Access Dental and Open Dental Plan, PPOC claims, and Sick Leave claims.
The department also processes and coordinates the following member and / or provider requests:
- Eligibility updates
- Open Enrollment/Annual Verification
- Dependent Eligibility
- Disability Extensions
- ID Cards
- Dependent Changes
- Claims status
We pride ourselves as being a one-stop-shop and our goal is to achieve one call resolution on all of our membership issues. If you have any questions about your access to Health & Welfare benefits, current eligibility, outstanding claims, how a claim was paid, or other information, please call us.
